Deckless is a party game app published by Predvix Limited ("we"). This policy explains what the app stores, where, for how long, who can see it, and the choices you have. More about the app: predvix.com/deckless.
Deckless has no accounts and no sign-in, and it never asks for your email address, phone number or real name. It shows no ads and contains no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting services. It does not use the advertising ID and does not ask for access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone or photos.
The app saves the display name you choose and your film-era choices, your best scores and Daily Challenge progress in solo games, and a random session code that lets your phone rejoin a room after a dropped connection. Solo games run on your phone and send nothing to us. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes all of this.
Room games run through our server so that everyone's phones stay in sync. When you open or join a room, the server receives and stores:
Do not type personal information into a game: the other players in the room will see what the game reveals, including your name and your answers.
A room, with its players' names and game data, is deleted automatically 24 hours after its last activity. Session records are deleted 7 days after the session was last used. We do not keep a copy of rooms after that, and we do not build profiles.
Our server runs on Railway, which provides the hosting. Like any online service, the server and Railway's network process your IP address and the time of each connection to deliver the game, and standard connection logs are written for operating and securing the service. Those logs are kept for a limited period by the hosting provider. Data is sent between the app and the server over encrypted connections (HTTPS and secure WebSockets).
We do not sell your information and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. The only company that handles it for us is our hosting provider, which does so only to run the service. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Deckless is for players aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.
You can stop all collection by leaving the room and closing or uninstalling the app; room data then expires as described above. Because there are no accounts, we cannot look someone up by name or email. If you want something removed sooner, or have any question about your information, write to us below with the room code if you have it, and we will do what we reasonably can.
